Recently completed this huge commissioned piece for an art collector in Dubai - I can’t wait to see this framed and hanging in his stunning villa in Dubai - the painting depicts a rain soaked colourful Tokyo street scene - but with the inclusion of elements from Tokyos past, the traditional dressed woman looks down the street at the future of the city, bright lights and positivity, representing a Japan from the past - the 1970s style taxis caught somewhere in between - and the lights in the distance sparkle with the promise of hope and positivity and a bright future #japan #tokyo #painting #japanpainting #artworktokyo #tokyoart
