'Backstreets - Tokyo' - Here's today's freehand, digital painting, based on my last trip to my favourite city, Tokyo! I love the clean and simple lines, the tangled networks of electricity and telephone cables, the coloured glow to the night sky and the abstract forms on the road surfaces...something quite beautiful and calming about these still backstreets, such a contrast to the frantic energy and bustle of Shibuya only streets away....
